About the author – Well, he can say the alphabet backwards. He once got his tongue stuck to a metal pole in the dead of winter, twice. He wears solid color crew neck t-shirts daily, preferably blue. People who know him will say he’s a great guy, but a jerk when it comes to calling you back. His hobbies include hammocking, woodworking, cheffing, wandering, and archery. His favorite foods include chili, pickles, and sandwiches. Mmm, sandwiches. He’s awesome at underwater breakdancing, and he spent the age of 14 grounded. He used to think avacado was pronounced uh-vok-adoo, and thought that being Americanized meant getting replacement eyes. He likes to encourage others, for example, he farts when people hug him in order to make them feel strong. He has a taste for adventure, and sour jelly beans. He hates when people wear footwear that is clearly too small. When toes hang over the front of a person’s shoes he calls this, toe-verhang. In short, he’s just a regular guy, another speck living on this small dot, hurtling through the swirl of cosmic dust, trying to live an interesting and purposeful life. Oh yeah, and while in college he and his friend created this awesome book called Everything Under the Suns. The end.

About the illustrator – He’s kind of a weird guy. Sometimes he’ll say things like “Dave’s not here…” but he’s obviously there, because he just said that, standing right in front of me. He also talks about how he “travels through time” selling tambourines, and that “there’s good money in it”. Anyways, back in the year 2002, he was one of those guys that would open up MS Paint on Windows XP, start drawing in some lines, and then filling in all the holes. One if those images stood out in particular though – the green guy in “Elevated Illusions”. This guy was looking super sweet! So after drawing that one, he started drawing more and more images in a similar fashion. With the help of his good buddy to write magical words to these images, the master plan (to create the coolest book EVER) commenced.
